Hey everyone! Whats going on?? I hope you all are having a great day :) It may be Monday, but think of it as another opportunity to achieve greatness and set this week of STRONG!

I must make a confession, before almost all of my blog post, I will check my phone to see the pictures I have taken prior to my last post. If I deem the picture relevant, I will upload it into my post. Coincidentally, As I checked my phone today, I had taken pictures of every meal I eat yesterday LOL. I really didn’t remember doing this so it certainly put a smile on my face.

This was my breakfast yesterday. I was getting a little tired of eating my eggs and oats seperately so I blended them all together and baked them up. I’ve cut fruit out of my diet so I knew the lacking banana would hurt the true potential of this pancake. To combat this, I put in 1 TBSP of plain greek yogurt and believe it or not it worked! This pancake tasted pretty good all things considered and certainly gave me some mental clarity.

This was lunch. Nothing special, I believe just 7 OZ shredded chicken, some broccoli, leafy spinach, and 6 OZ sweet potato.

Dinner! This is where things got interesting. I was still craving something sweet following my breakfast, so I went back to my breakfast roots. I took 2 whole eggs, mixed them with 1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 TBSP coconut oil and microwaved it for about 2 minutes. The end product came out OK, definitely not what I expected but still really clean.

HOW ABOUT TRAINING!?

I hit legs today. Squatcity 101 :) Week 3 on my 5/3/1 so I knew I was in for some pain haha. Let’s check it out

Training Weight: 330
75% 5 Reps 250LB
85% 3 Reps 280LB
90% 1+ Reps 315LB

3x 3-5 Reps
Back Squats: 255(5) 260(5) 265(5)

This is a little training protocol I just started today to increase my vertical leap. I got it from Bodybuilding.com

Variable Speed Box Squat

Dumbbell Seated Box Jump

Linear Depth Jump

Toes 2 Bar Abs 4×15

The box jump routine is pretty intricate and rather then confuse you with my gibberish I will post the link here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/nfl-combine-trainer-vertical-leaps-mega-stardom.html

Anyways, its a pretty nice day outside right now in comparison to the weather we have been experiencing lately so I am going to go hit the pavement for a nice walk. I need to workout some of the lactic acid building in my legs regardless so this walk should help that!

Any questions or anything hit me up! If you try the leg workout let me know how it goes :) HEADING TO THE TOP!
